Buyer – Procurement Operations (Raw & Packaging Materials)

About the role

The Buyer – Procurement Operations (Raw & Packaging Materials) ensures the timely and efficient supply of pharmaceutical raw and packaging materials to support manufacturing. The role focuses on cost optimisation, supplier relationship management and strict compliance with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and follow‑up purchase orders to prevent production disruptions.
• Manage the end‑to‑end procurement cycle from requisition to payment, adhering to company policies.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to guarantee continuity, improve performance and resolve issues.
• Identify and participate in cost‑optimisation and value‑creation initiatives.
• Collaborate with Category Lead, Supply Planning, Quality, Finance and Production to ensure material availability and balanced inventory.
• Support continuous‑improvement projects to enhance process efficiency and compliance.
• Follow up on supplier claims and ensure timely resolution.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Purchasing, Supply Chain or Logistics Management.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical raw material procurement.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English.
• High level of integrity, adaptability, teamwork and organisational rigor.

• Ability to prepare and consolidate procurement performance reports
