Vehicle Performance Manager O2X

About the role

The Vehicle Performance Manager O2X will consolidate stakeholder needs, align project performance contracts with marketing targets, and oversee the Vehicle Performance Validation Plan, ensuring safety and performance convergence across the vehicle development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Translate Marketing and Brand requirements into functional performance targets and lead their definition with architecture and subsystem inputs.
• Negotiate performance targets with customer synthesis and design departments, ensuring technical feasibility.
• Monitor target achievement throughout the project and verify technical specifications meet performance goals.
• Define and coordinate digital and physical validation plans, including test budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Manage performance convergence by tracking test results, reporting, and coordinating cross‑functional action plans.
• Organise subjective assessments, support benchmarking, and handle safety file gathering and release.

Required profile

• Strong ability to align marketing objectives with engineering specifications and drive cross‑functional collaboration.
• Experience in managing validation plans, budgets, and schedules for vehicle performance testing.
• Knowledge of regulatory constraints and safety assessment processes.
• Proven negotiation skills with design and customer synthesis teams.
