Cashier – Hotel Front Desk

About the role

The Cashier position at Marriott Hotels & Resorts in Fes is responsible for handling all guest payments and bank transactions in accordance with hotel accounting policies. The role ensures accurate cash handling, maintains a secure workstation, and delivers courteous service to guests throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Process all payment methods (cash, credit, debit) following established accounting procedures.
• Perform blind drops, count the bank at shift end, and complete cashier reports.
• Secure and transport the bank to and from the assigned workstation.
• Set up and maintain a clean, fully stocked cashier workstation.
• Welcome guests, address service needs, and uphold Marriott’s hospitality standards.
• Answer telephone calls using proper etiquette and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior cash handling experience required.

Required skills

• Cash handling and bank drop procedures.
• Operation of point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and basic computer use.
