About the role
The Classroom Aide provides essential support in a school setting, helping to create a safe and nurturing environment for children while assisting teachers with daily classroom activities.
Key responsibilities
- Provide daily supervision of children, ensuring their physical and emotional safety.
- Facilitate academic and recreational activities that support children’s growth and development.
- Maintain a calm, nurturing, and non‑disruptive classroom atmosphere.
- Assist with record‑keeping duties, including attendance and activity logs.
- Help prepare and maintain program materials and classroom resources.
Required profile
- Ability to supervise children attentively and respond to safety concerns.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Organizational aptitude for handling records and classroom materials.
- Commitment to promoting the educational and emotional well‑being of students.
