Country Manager Morocco

About the role

The Country Manager is accountable for the short‑ and long‑term success of DPDHL in Morocco. This senior position leads the development and execution of strategic and operational plans, builds a high‑performing functional team, and ensures alignment with regional and global objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Drive service performance that exceeds customer expectations and differentiates DPDHL from competitors.
• Maintain and grow relationships with key customers, ensuring retention and new‑business development.
• Represent DPDHL positively with NGOs, partners, industry bodies and government entities.
• Deliver on annual business targets for revenue, cash flow, profit and service levels, taking corrective actions when needed.
• Define and communicate local short‑ and long‑term strategies within the regional context.
• Lead the Senior Management Team, fostering strong leadership and effective implementation of goals.
• Coordinate strategic activities with Solutions, Intercontinental business units and Global Customer Service.

Required profile

• Extensive senior leadership experience in logistics, transport or a related industry.
• Proven ability to develop and execute business strategies and manage P&L responsibility.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with a track record of building customer and partner relationships.
• Demonstrated capability to lead multicultural teams and drive performance excellence.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional language proficiency relevant to Morocco is a plus.
