Data Quality Analyst Assistant

About the role

JHC Consulting is supporting a regional financial services group on a governance and strategic‑risk project. The Data Quality Analyst Assistant works remotely to ensure that every figure and metric used in advisory memoranda is accurate, traceable, and meaningful.

Key responsibilities

• Review large financial datasets to spot outliers, missing values, and contradictions.
• Verify the accuracy of performance metrics and financial figures cited in draft documents.
• Produce concise summaries of data findings for senior consultants.
• Maintain detailed records of data sources, transformation steps, and audit trails.
• Cross‑reference internal client data with external market benchmarks and regulatory filings.
• Identify risks in data collection methods and suggest corrective actions.
• Clean and format data to prepare it for rigorous analysis.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with a university background in finance, economics, data science, or a related analytical field.
• High intellectual maturity, strong attention to detail, and a skeptical mindset toward data inconsistencies.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate findings clearly in writing.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheet software (Excel).
• Basic understanding of statistical concepts.
