Equipment Engineer

About the role

As an Equipment Engineer you will lead and coordinate activities for assigned tester equipment within STMicroelectronics' semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of new tester equipment, from installation through qualification to production ramp‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and track milestones for new tester equipment introduction, including installation, buy‑off, qualification, release to production and ramp‑up.
• Collaborate with operations teams to drive yield and quality improvements related to equipment.
• Monitor and report equipment performance metrics such as OEE, MTBI and MTBA.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance procedures and manage spare parts inventories.

Required profile

• Engineer or Master’s degree in Electronics.
• 3–4 years of experience in a similar equipment engineering role.

Required skills

• Equipment qualification and installation.
• Preventive maintenance planning.
• Performance monitoring (OEE, MTBI, MTBA).
• Spare parts management.
