French/Arabic Translator (FR/AR)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a French/Arabic Translator (FR/AR) to join its expert team for an EU‑funded visibility and strategic communication project in Morocco. The position supports the creation and adaptation of institutional communication materials for the European Union.

Key responsibilities

• Translate and revise French and Arabic texts, including press releases, reports, and promotional content.
• Adapt content to Moroccan Arabic (Darija) and ensure linguistic consistency.
• Manage terminology specific to EU institutions and public‑diplomacy contexts.
• Localise communication assets for various media channels.
• Collaborate with project managers to maintain the quality and timeliness of deliverables.

Required profile

• Higher education degree (minimum BAC+3) in translation, applied languages, linguistics, French or Arabic studies, or a related field. If the degree is not held, at least six years of professional experience is required.
• Minimum three years of general translation, linguistic revision, or localisation experience.
• At least one year of experience translating institutional communication or public‑diplomacy materials.
• Fluent in French and Arabic; knowledge of Moroccan Arabic (Darija) and English is an asset.
