Functional Architect

About the role

ALTEN Morocco is seeking a Functional Architect to support the development of cockpit, body, infotainment and connected services systems for automotive projects. The role involves analysing functional requirements, designing architecture models and ensuring traceability across vehicle configurations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and maintain functional requirements for cockpit, body, infotainment and connected services.
• Design and update functional architecture models using CATIA V6.
• Create, review and manage system requirements and traceability within ENOVIA.
• Manage product diversity and ensure consistency across vehicle configurations.
• Assess change requests on E/E architecture and perform root‑cause analysis of technical issues.
• Generate and maintain Technical Function Design (TFD) and Sub‑System Design (SSD) deliverables.
• Lead technical review meetings with cross‑functional teams and produce architecture documentation.
• Define and manage calibration parameters and ensure compliance with engineering standards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Embedded Systems.
• 1‑3 years of experience in functional architecture and systems engineering.
• Good knowledge of automotive E/E architectures and embedded systems.
• Experience with requirements engineering and functional decomposition.
