System Modeling & Simulation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a System Modeling & Simulation Engineer to develop and maintain advanced energy system and electrified power‑train models, perform dynamic and steady‑state simulations, and support performance studies for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system models for advanced energy systems and electrified power‑train applications.
• Perform dynamic and steady‑state simulations to evaluate system behavior and performance.
• Conduct heat, mass, and energy balance calculations to support design and optimization.
• Parameterize, calibrate, and validate simulation models using test and supplier data.
• Analyze operating profiles and assess performance under various conditions.
• Support architecture and engineering teams with performance studies and technical recommendations.
• Prepare technical reports and present simulation results to project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent.
• Experience in system modeling and simulation of thermo‑fluid, energy, battery, fuel‑cell, hydrogen or automotive systems.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics and energy systems.
• Understanding of system architecture, requirements engineering and performance evaluation processes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and English communication in an international engineering environment.
