About the role

The Heart of House Specialist supports essential hotel operations by maintaining cleanliness across multiple departments such as kitchen, food & beverage, and laundry. Working at The Ritz‑Carlton Rabat, you will ensure guests enjoy spotless dining ware, fresh linens and a safe, well‑kept environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, and dining equipment using dish‑washing machines and hand‑wash stations.
• Operate linen washers and dryers to provide fresh, crisp linens for guest rooms and public areas.
• Transport dishware, linens and cleaning supplies throughout the hotel.
• Maintain cleaning equipment, report any malfunctions and follow safety procedures.
• Adhere to quality standards, uniform policies and professional communication.

Required profile

• No formal education requirement; high school diploma or GED not mandatory.
• No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, twist and reach for extended periods.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork and a positive work attitude.

Required skills

• Operation of commercial dish‑washing machines.
• Use of linen washing and drying equipment.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.
