About the role

The Sushi Chef will join the culinary team at the Rabat Marriott Hotel in Salé, delivering high‑quality sushi dishes to hotel guests. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on preparation, presentation, and creative menu development while upholding the highest standards of hygiene and kitchen safety.

Key responsibilities

• Source, store, and handle fresh seafood and other ingredients according to strict quality standards.
• Prepare, assemble, and present a variety of sushi and sashimi dishes with precision and consistency.
• Maintain impeccable hygiene and sanitation practices throughout food preparation areas.
• Follow kitchen safety protocols and ensure compliance with all food‑handling regulations.
• Collaborate with the broader culinary team to innovate new sushi offerings and support overall menu execution.

Required profile

• Prior experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role, preferably within a fine‑dining or luxury hotel environment.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented kitchen.
• Culinary certification or equivalent qualification is a plus.
