IT Team Lead – Industrial Manufacturing

About the role

The IT Team Lead will ensure the reliability, security and performance of the plant’s IT environment while coordinating local IT activities. This hands‑on leadership position bridges plant operations, business functions and Group IT in a fast‑paced industrial setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day IT activities and guide the local IT team.
• Maintain availability, reliability and performance of servers, networks, workstations and communication systems.
• Oversee IT support, incident resolution and user request handling.
• Act as primary IT contact for local management and coordinate with regional and Group IT teams.
• Support implementation, administration and continuous improvement of business applications and ERP‑related systems.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, hardware and software deployment in line with corporate policies.
• Ensure compliance with Group standards for security, data protection, backup and disaster recovery.
• Monitor network and system performance, proactively identifying risks.
• Coordinate infrastructure installations, upgrades, migrations and new technology deployments.
• Manage relationships with external suppliers and service providers.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assets, systems, licences and configurations.
• Support production and operational teams to minimise IT‑related disruptions.
• Participate in local and international IT projects, including digitalisation initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, service quality, reliability and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration and technical support.
• Previous experience coordinating or leading an IT team (highly desirable).
• Experience in an industrial, manufacturing or automotive environment is a strong advantage.
