Marketing & Communications Executive

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing & Communications Executive to join the Sales & Marketing team at Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech. Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, you will help shape and deliver marketing initiatives that enhance the hotel’s visibility and reputation across its rooms, restaurants, spa and experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and update all social media channels with engaging, brand‑aligned content.
• Create compelling copy for digital platforms, newsletters, website updates and promotional materials.
• Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and seasonal activations.
• Coordinate media visits, influencer collaborations and public‑relations opportunities.
• Prepare press releases, media kits and other communication assets.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date website content.
• Monitor digital and social performance, produce reports and recommend improvements.
• Oversee production of marketing collateral, photography and video content.
• Assist with brand partnerships, events and local activations while ensuring all communications meet Mandarin Oriental’s luxury standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Hospitality or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in marketing, communications, PR or digital marketing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Content creation tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
