Network & Security Operations Engineer

About the role

We are a fast‑growing AI & IT company looking for a skilled Network & Security Operations Engineer to own the Day‑2 operations of our Fortinet security fabric. You will ensure continuous service, respond to security and network incidents, and keep our logging and audit infrastructure compliant for a government platform.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor FortiAnalyzer dashboards, FortiWeb WAF alerts, FortiGate HA health, and FortiSwitch events, triaging and escalating incidents according to SLA.
• Execute firewall rule changes via FortiManager, manage VLAN/port modifications on FortiSwitch, and maintain FortiPAM privileged‑account rosters.
• Apply firmware updates for FortiOS, FortiSwitch, FortiWeb, and FortiManager within approved maintenance windows.
• Renew SSL/TLS certificates on FortiADC and FortiWeb before expiry.
• Validate daily log ingestion across all Fortinet components, generate audit reports, and conduct quarterly firewall rule reviews.
• Support external security assessments by providing evidence packs from Fortinet devices.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented, motivated professional with a strong focus on security compliance.
• Ability to work closely with the Infrastructure & Platform Operations Engineer to provide full‑stack coverage.
• Experience handling incident response, change control processes, and audit documentation.
