Process Controller

About the role

APM Terminals is seeking a Process Controller to monitor and optimise live vessel, yard and gate operations in a high‑tech, integrated terminal environment. You will work within a shift‑based structure, collaborating with global teams to ensure smooth execution and continuous improvement of terminal productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor live vessel, yard and gate operations to meet operational targets.
• Execute system‑driven work instructions and prevent operational stoppages.
• Optimise deployment of container handling equipment (CHE) using planning tools and real‑time adjustments.
• Coordinate with RCC, quayside and yard control teams to maximise flow and productivity.
• Identify, manage and resolve operational exceptions, including equipment or system‑related issues.
• Perform root‑cause analysis on failures and drive timely resolutions with stakeholders.
• Support training and onboarding of new team members, ensuring knowledge transfer and process adherence.
