Process Engineer

About the role

STMicroelectronics is seeking a Process Engineer specialized in Die Attach processes (glue, soft solder, solder paste) to support manufacturing and new product development. You will provide technical guidance, ensure process conformance, and lead improvements across a multicultural team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and analysis for Die Attach processes to meet specifications.
• Develop and qualify new materials, machines, and processes for upcoming products.
• Identify, modify, and upgrade processes to improve quality, yield, and cost efficiency.
• Lead technical teams on improvement projects and ensure alignment with EHSE requirements.
• Support manufacturing and quality programs throughout product lifecycle.

Required profile

• Engineer or Master’s degree with strong technical knowledge of assembly processes.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects, make autonomous technical decisions, and work with senior management.
• High scientific background in Die Attach and strong analytical problem‑solving skills.
• Leadership experience in multicultural technical teams.
• Business‑level English proficiency.

• Die Attach process expertise (glue, soft solder, solder paste).
• Material and machine qualification.
• Statistical analysis tools and software.
• MS Office and PowerBI.
• PMP certification (preferred).
• Six Sigma certification (advantage).
