Project Safety Manager

About the role

The Project Safety Manager will oversee safety activities across all engineering disciplines for complete vehicle projects, ensuring that safety objectives are met throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop, monitor, and validate safety plans and assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain the Project Safety Plan and define the scope of safety activities.
• Ensure consistency and completeness of safety analyses across all engineering layers.
• Coordinate safety activity planning, deliverables, and confirmation measures with stakeholders.
• Track safety activities, prepare Safety Assessments, and present them at key project milestones.
• Obtain safety release approvals for each project phase.
• Develop and optimise the Verification & Validation (V&V) strategy.
• Supervise the development of the safety case for all engineering disciplines.
• Lead non‑functional safety tasks such as Stress & Threats analysis and Severe Thermal Events management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac +5) from an engineering school.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in safety engineering or related fields.
• Detail‑oriented, creative, and curious with strong teamwork skills.
