Quote Service Associate

About the role

The Quote Service Associate supports the quoting process for small to medium‑size customers, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of price proposals. Working within Arrow's quoting platforms, you will translate customer requirements into formal quotes and maintain data integrity throughout the workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify all data on the Strategic Quote Coversheet (SQCS) for completeness.
• Enter customer quote information into Arrow IQ and Sales Desktop systems.
• Download quote data from third‑party tools, format it, and prepare it for entry using intermediate Excel skills.
• Identify and correct NEDA assignment discrepancies within the IQ tool.
• Scrub part numbers for accuracy using Part Search and Component Quest tools.
• Communicate the quote strategy set by the SMR on the Basic Quote Cover Sheet.
• Monitor the Unassigned Quote Queue and take appropriate actions.
• After markup, download the final quote from Arrow IQ, verify data, and prepare it for customer delivery.

Required profile

• Typically a 2‑year degree with 2–4 years of relevant experience, or a high‑school diploma with equivalent experience.
• Entry‑level candidates with prior exposure to quoting or sales support are welcome.
• Ability to work within established procedures under moderate supervision.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Arrow IQ quote tool.
• Familiarity with Sales Desktop system.
• Use of Part Search tool.
• Use of Component Quest tool.
