Regional Networking Engineer

About the role

APM Terminals, part of the Maersk Group, is looking for a Regional Networking Engineer to support and maintain the networking infrastructure of its terminal hubs in the region. Based in Tangier, Morocco, you will work as a regional resource, collaborating with global teams to drive modernization, standardisation and security of the network.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure continuous availability of terminal networks across the region.
• Use ServiceNow and other service‑management tools to resolve incidents and fulfil network‑related requests within agreed SLAs.
• Execute global network change programmes, applying first‑time‑right change management and avoiding unplanned interruptions.
• Maintain secure network configurations in line with APM Terminals policies.
• Troubleshoot network and communication issues in partnership with other departments and global teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a network engineer working in a regional or multi‑site environment.
• Ability to collaborate with global IT teams and local stakeholders.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model, balancing on‑site presence in Tangier with remote activities.

Required skills

• Network infrastructure management (LAN/WAN, routers, switches).
• ServiceNow for incident and request handling.
• Network change management processes.
• Network security configuration and best practices.
