Research Associate – EdTech Impact Evaluation

About the role

The Morocco Innovation and Evaluation Lab (MEL) seeks a Research Associate to support a randomized impact evaluation of an education technology program in Moroccan public schools. Based at the UM6P campus in Rabat, you will work closely with an international research team to coordinate field activities, manage data, and ensure rigorous implementation of the study.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day implementation of the RCT, including scheduling and supervising field visits.
• Design, pilot, and refine survey instruments for baseline, midline, and endline data collection.
• Oversee data collection, entry, cleaning, and preliminary analysis.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and ensure compliance with ethical standards.
• Support the research team in preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career researcher with strong interest in impact evaluation and education research.
• Ability to work independently under supervision and manage multiple field tasks.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
