Research Associate – EdTech Impact Evaluation

About the role

The Morocco Innovation and Evaluation Lab (MEL) is seeking a Research Associate to support a randomized impact evaluation of an education technology program in Morocco’s public schools. The role is based at the UM6P campus in Rabat and offers hands‑on experience in designing, implementing, and managing field‑based research.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day implementation of the RCT, including scheduling and supervising field visits.
• Design and pilot survey instruments for baseline, pilot, and end‑line data collection.
• Manage data collection, cleaning, and storage to ensure high‑quality datasets.
• Support the research team with data analysis and preparation of reports.
• Maintain communication with public, private, NGO, and philanthropic partners involved in the project.

Required profile

• Strong interest in impact evaluation, quantitative education research, and development economics.
• Motivation to prepare for graduate‑level studies or a career in impact evaluation.
