Robotics Data Collector – Data Collection & Robotics Operations

About the role

CNTXT AI is seeking a Robotics Data Collector to capture high-quality multimodal robotics and egocentric datasets for training AI models. The role involves hands‑on work with cameras, sensors and robotic platforms in lab and real‑world settings.

Key responsibilities

• Collect robotics and egocentric data using handheld, head‑mounted or robot‑mounted cameras and sensors (IMU, depth cameras) following predefined scenarios.
• Support operation of humanoid or mobile robots, including setup and calibration of cameras, sensors and recording systems.
• Review collected data for completeness, clarity and accuracy, flagging missing data, recording errors or sensor misalignment.
• Prepare and execute experiment environments, such as object manipulation, navigation scenarios and human‑robot interaction recordings.
• Maintain documentation of data‑collection sessions, equipment usage and issues, providing feedback to improve processes.
• Follow lab safety protocols, handle equipment responsibly and ensure data privacy and security compliance.

Required profile

• 0–3+ years of experience in data collection, field operations or lab environments.
• Experience in technical or hardware‑related roles, comfortable with cameras, sensors and recording devices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Ability to work in lab or controlled real‑world environments.
