Senior Data Engineer (Casablanca)

About the role

Artefact is a fast‑growing data services provider looking for senior talent to join its Morocco engineering team. You will work in feature‑teams on projects that span cloud migrations, machine‑learning model deployment and predictive analytics for high‑impact clients.

Key responsibilities

• Innovate with consultants, data scientists and engineers to design cutting‑edge data solutions.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery, from architecture and implementation to performance optimisation and scalability.
• Coach teammates, share knowledge and conduct training sessions with partners such as Google and Amazon.
• Represent Artefact at conferences and events, communicating technical achievements to diverse audiences.

Required profile

• Experience across the full data value chain, including infrastructure, platform creation, ML model deployment and CI/CD.
• Strong background in software engineering, DevOps/DevSecOps and cloud environments (GCP or AWS).
• Ability to translate technical concepts for business‑oriented stakeholders.
• Proven track record of prioritising tasks, meeting deadlines and managing junior team members.
• Fluent English communication skills.
