Senior Setup Technician

About the role

TE Connectivity is looking for a Senior Setup Technician to join its Machinist Team. You will work with diverse colleagues to support the production of precision‑engineered parts for the automotive industry, ensuring safety, sustainability and high quality.

Key responsibilities

• Plan assignments, layout workstations and set up manual, numerically controlled and computerized machine shop equipment.
• Operate machines and make tool adjustments based on blueprints, process sheets and sketches.
• Cut and shape metal to precise dimensions while maintaining strict quality standards.
• Communicate directly with engineers to understand part requirements and assembly purpose.
• Maintain housekeeping, organization of the work area and compliance with TE Connectivity’s EH&S policies.

Required profile

• High School Diploma (required); two‑year technical degree in plastic or mechanical discipline (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in plastics processing (injection molding) within the automotive sector.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to work safely in a production environment.
