Senior Team Lead, Propulsion & Vehicle Systems

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Team Lead to own the propulsion and vehicle systems for our autonomous air vehicle, from concept through flight testing. Based in Rabat, you will define engine architecture, build test capability from the ground up, and lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver flight‑ready hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Build, lead and grow a cross‑disciplinary team covering propulsion, fuel systems and vehicle electrical.
• Select and integrate the engine, design the engine bay, and define the overall propulsion architecture.
• Establish on‑site propulsion test capability, including benches, instrumentation and procedures.
• Own end‑to‑end fuel system development, including composite tank design and vehicle constraints.
• Drive vehicle power distribution, harness routing and actuation across the airframe.
• Perform trade‑off and design analysis for engine selection, tank integration and booster interface.
• Coordinate cross‑functional design with airframe, avionics and launcher teams, managing system interfaces.
• Lead integration, prototyping, test campaigns and qualification to meet performance targets.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in propulsion or vehicle systems engineering within defense, aerospace or robotics.
• Proven track record of leading engineers and delivering a propulsion system from concept to flight.
• MSc in Mechanical, Aerospace or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands‑on, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to make first‑principles design decisions on site.
• Experience with solid motor or booster interfaces is a strong plus.
