System Engineer Diag – OBD/OBM

About the role

As a member of the system engineering team, you will contribute to the development of diagnostic and safety concepts for powertrain functions such as combustion, after‑treatment and air‑path. You will help define and validate OBD and safety requirements in line with relevant standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design safety, OBD and diagnostic requirements to meet regulations and standards (e.g., ISO‑26262).
• Identify safety, OBD and diagnostic impacts of technical developments.
• Define project‑specific requirements and ensure their implementation.
• Create integration validation plans and analyse IVP test results.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in embedded systems, mechatronics or a related field.
• More than 1 year of experience in powertrain systems design and engineering.
• Good knowledge of ICE and HEV powertrain functions and Euro 7 regulations.
• Strong communication, collaboration and analytical abilities.
