Technical Functional PL/SQL Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Functional PL/SQL Consultant to join a large banking group in Rabat. The role combines deep PL/SQL development expertise with functional understanding of banking processes, ensuring high‑quality, performant database solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Analyse performance issues, rewrite heavy queries and manage indexes for optimal tuning.
• Provide technical leadership to junior developers, define coding standards and conduct code reviews.
• Write detailed technical specifications and coordinate with functional teams throughout project lifecycles.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in PL/SQL development within a banking or similar environment.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.

Required skills

• Advanced PL/SQL programming.
• SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts.
