Technologist

About the role

At TE, the Technologist will work with cross‑functional teams to develop and optimise production processes, ensuring safety, quality and sustainability. The role combines design, planning and hands‑on execution in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan production tasks by studying blueprints and process sheets, and develop product designs and machining processes.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes, perform measurements, and identify causes of malfunctions.
• Coach operators, adjust tools on manual and computerized shop equipment, and maintain process specifications.
• Manage stock inventory, place and expedite purchase orders, analyse forecasts and verify receipts.
• Provide input for design and implementation plans, ensure compliance with safety procedures and monitor quality checks.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma; vocational training or an associate degree preferred.
• Strong commitment to integrity, accountability, inclusion, innovation and teamwork.
