Cost Controller – Finance & Accounting

About the role

The Cost Controller will support the property’s financial strategy by analysing data, forecasting budgets and ensuring accurate profit‑and‑loss reporting. This role works closely with senior management to protect the brand’s financial performance and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial data and market trends to inform strategic decisions and budget planning.
• Prepare annual budget plans, forecast sales versus expenses, and monitor actual performance against projections.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, estimate benefits, and support new business initiatives.
• Maintain accurate profit‑and‑loss statements, ensuring costs are correctly matched to revenue.
• Oversee tax compliance, internal and external audits, and adherence to SOPs and local regulations.
• Provide timely financial reports, presentations and insights to owners, the GM and executive committee.
• Lead and develop accounting team members, ensuring clear accountability and performance standards.

Required profile

• 4‑year bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• No prior work experience required; entry‑level candidates are welcome.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends.
