Distributor Account Manager - Northern Africa

About the role

A global leader in industrial automation solutions is recruiting, on behalf of its client, a Distributor Account Manager for the Northern Africa region, based in Morocco. The role reports to the Distribution Channel Sales Director (South Europe & MEA) and focuses on building strong distributor partnerships, executing commercial strategies and expanding the market in line with the company's global objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the Regional Distribution Director to define and implement the distribution strategy across Northern Africa
• Develop and run business plans with distribution partners, recruit and onboard new distributors, and set and track sales targets and KPIs
• Apply company pricing strategies consistently and use Salesforce CRM to track performance and pipeline
• Evaluate existing distributors, improve their performance, and support them with digital tools and operational excellence
• Build relationships with distributors and end customers, monitor satisfaction via Net Promoter Score (NPS) and follow up on commercial performance
• Share best practices with other account managers and work with Application Engineering, Marketing and Supply Chain teams

Required profile

• Proven track record driving distribution sales growth in an industrial environment, with strong channel management and partner development experience
• Experience designing growth plans at regional and partner level, and in marketing through distribution channels
• Fluency in English, French and Arabic
• Experience or understanding of the pneumatics or industrial automation market in Morocco or Northern Africa
