Facility Manager - Salé

About the role

SEBN Maroc is looking for a Facility Manager for its location in Salé, Morocco. The role covers the management of a subordinate organizational unit, including buildings, technical infrastructure, maintenance, energy and utility systems, and related projects. Documents must be submitted in English.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the subordinate unit, supervise employees, evaluate performance, prepare vacation plans and ensure compliance with labour regulations, OHS, environmental and fire protection rules
• Represent the unit internally and externally, define objectives and development plans, and manage the departmental budget
• Ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective operation of buildings, facilities and technical infrastructure, and manage permits, documentation and contracts with service providers
• Plan, coordinate and supervise renovation, modernization and infrastructure improvement projects, and monitor statutory inspections, audits and certifications
• Manage electrical, HVAC, compressed air, water, sewage, heating, ventilation and lighting systems, and preventive and corrective maintenance
• Monitor energy, water and utility consumption, implement sustainability and energy-efficiency initiatives, and support procurement
• Supervise cleaning services, waste management, workplace conditions, welfare areas and emergency preparedness
• Lead investment, relocation, expansion and infrastructure projects, and support digitalization and automation initiatives

Required profile

• University degree in Facility Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, Industrial or Civil Engineering or a comparable technical field
• At least 10 years of professional experience in facility management, technical infrastructure, maintenance or building services, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Experience in a manufacturing and/or automotive environment, and in managing projects, capital investments, suppliers, contractors and external service providers
• Knowledge of facility management, technical building systems, OHS, environmental, fire protection and labour regulations; budget planning, cost control and energy management
• MS Office proficiency; fluent English and French; Arabic and additional languages are an advantage
• Willingness to travel
