Hostess – Guest Service

About the role

The Hostess will be the first point of contact for guests at a Marriott International property in Rabat. This frontline position ensures a welcoming atmosphere, smooth seating flow, and high standards of service throughout the dining area.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size, and seat them at clean, appropriately set tables.
• Pull out chairs, place menus, and ensure each setting includes a napkin, silverware, and any required items.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, follow clean‑as‑you‑go procedures, and keep menus current and wrinkle‑free.
• Monitor dining room for seating availability, safety, and guest well‑being.
• Adhere to company safety policies, report incidents, and complete required training.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Answer telephone calls with proper etiquette and support team members to achieve common goals.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods and lifting objects up to 10 lb.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Commitment to follow safety, security, and company policies.
• Professional demeanor and ability to communicate clearly.
