Part Time Program Manager – South St. Louis School Districts

About the role

Right At School is seeking a Part‑Time Program Manager to oversee before‑ and after‑school extended day programs across multiple South St. Louis school districts. The role focuses on delivering safe, engaging, and enrichment‑rich experiences for students while supporting staff and families.

Key responsibilities

• Model safety and joy standards, ensuring all staff understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Maintain operational efficiency by keeping site documents, licensing standards, attendance protocols, behavior policies, and safety procedures up to date.
• Coach and mentor staff, fostering respectful relationships and addressing challenges promptly.
• Monitor and report on safety protocols, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
• Engage with families, partners, and children through timely communication via email, text, and phone during program hours.
• Collaborate regularly with the Area Manager to align on program goals and implement process improvements.
• Maintain accurate student check‑in/check‑out records and ensure compliance with documentation requirements.

Required profile

• Must hold a Center Director Certification (CDC) from Missouri’s Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) or be eligible to obtain it before program start.
• Experience managing before‑/after‑school or similar youth programs.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work split‑shift hours (6 AM‑8:30 AM and 2 PM‑6 PM) across various school locations.
