Functional Architect – Embedded Systems

About the role

ALTEN Delivery Center Morocco is looking for a Functional Architect specialized in embedded systems to join its automotive projects. You will design symbolic functional architectures, allocate functions to ECUs, and ensure compliance with automotive standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create symbolic functional architecture for specific functions.
• Define messaging and allocate functions to ECUs.
• Map data flows across automotive networks (CAN, LIN).
• Specify life‑phase and power‑supply requirements.
• Maintain and update deliverables such as TFD, EEAD, DCI, and allocation matrices.

Required profile

• Engineering or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Embedded Systems.
• Strong knowledge of automotive networks (CAN, LIN) and V‑cycle development process.
• Good communication skills in French and English.
• Familiarity with automotive constraints, ISO‑26262 and AUTOSAR.
• Experience with software development for micro‑controllers.
