Housekeeping Supervisor – Rabat

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures that guest rooms, public areas and facilities at the Rabat Marriott Hotel meet the brand’s quality standards. Working closely with housekeeping staff and other hotel departments, the supervisor coordinates daily cleaning activities, resolves discrepancies, and supports a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool and other spaces after cleaning to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, prioritize cleaning tasks and update departing‑guest room statuses.
• Act as liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to coordinate efforts and resolve issues.
• Document and communicate discrepancies with the Front Desk and prepare daily room‑assignment changes.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling and motivating housekeeping staff.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies; report maintenance problems, hazards or incidents.
• Provide courteous guest service, assist guests with disabilities and uphold professional appearance standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of housekeeping experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a hotel or similar environment.
• Physical ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 55 lb unassisted and heavier items with assistance.
• Capability to stand, walk, kneel and perform repetitive motions throughout an entire shift.
