About the role
Hexcel is seeking an IT Engineer to provide onsite IT support at its Casablanca plant, ensuring reliable technology services for its advanced composites operations.
Key responsibilities
- Provide onsite support to end users, handling service desk requests via phone or remote access within SLA targets.
- Record, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents, monitoring and updating tickets in the global ITSM system.
- Install, configure, and set up new PC hardware and software according to established standards.
- Collaborate with global technology teams to diagnose and resolve network, system, and service‑related issues.
- Raise incident notifications and support service restoration activities during disruptions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, changes, processes, and all site IT assets.
- Work closely with engineering and implementation teams, applying analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Participate in on‑call and out‑of‑hours support while independently managing IT projects in Morocco.
- Provide guidance on business processes across Hexcel applications, leveraging knowledge of ERP and manufacturing systems.
Required profile
- IT‑related engineering degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support with strong technical expertise.
- Solid knowledge of PC hardware technologies, installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong understanding of current Windows operating systems for servers and workstations.
- Effective analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a proactive attitude.
- Experience training or coaching users across all organisational levels.
- Customer‑focused mindset and professional communication skills.
- Fluency in English; French is an asset.
- Eligibility to work in Morocco and flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
