About the role
WIRKY Group is seeking a seasoned Penetration Testing Expert to strengthen its security team. You will lead high‑impact assessments of web applications, APIs, networks and systems, delivering actionable insights to protect critical assets.
Key responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive web and API penetration tests, identifying vulnerabilities against the OWASP Top 10 and industry best practices.
- Conduct network and system‑level penetration testing, including manual exploitation and proof‑of‑concept development.
- Analyze discovered vulnerabilities, assess their impact, and provide clear remediation recommendations.
- Produce detailed technical reports and share pentesting methodologies with the team.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in penetration testing or vulnerability assessment.
- Strong command of English for communication with international stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaborate within a cross‑functional environment.
Required skills
- Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, Kali Linux.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS.
- Web security expertise: OWASP Top 10, API fuzzing, authentication bypass.
- Active Directory, LDAP, privilege escalation techniques.
- Linux, Windows, macOS environments.
- Scripting languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript.
- Cloud and container security: AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Security methodologies: risk assessment, vulnerability assessment, threat modeling.
