Senior Automation Test Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer to join ALTEN Morocco’s engineering team. You will design and implement automated system‑level tests for automotive and embedded projects, working with a variety of hardware and software platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test cases using Robot Framework and Python keyword libraries, validating against DLT traces, device logs, SSH outputs, diagnostic responses and cloud APIs.
• Integrate test execution with Jira/Xray, maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Artifactory) that handle flashing, coding, test runs and reporting.
• Set up, configure and troubleshoot HIL and standalone test benches, manage ECU wiring, power control, network access, flashing, coding, and diagnostics over DoIP/UDS.
• Maintain bench configurations, diagnose failures across the full stack and correctly attribute issues.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Embedded Systems or related engineering field.
• 3–8 years of professional experience in test automation, preferably in automotive or embedded domains.

Required skills

• Python programming (clean, maintainable code).
• Robot Framework – building libraries and keywords.
• Jira, Confluence and Xray for test management.
• CI/CD tools: GitLab CI (or Jenkins/GitHub Actions) and Git branching discipline.
• Embedded/automotive knowledge: ECU flashing & coding, UDS/DoIP diagnostics, DLT logging, Linux and QNX shell.
• Connectivity: HTTP/REST, MQTT, proxies, TLS/Certificates, OAuth tokens, network debugging.
