Team Leader – Manufacturing & Prototyping

About the role

We are looking for a Team Leader to oversee the setup, fabrication, assembly, maintenance and testing of machine tools and prototype equipment. The role supports product development from ideation through introduction, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine tools for experimental and production purposes.
• Fabricate, assemble and test machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
• Perform quality checks on finished products, document defects and identify root causes.
• Interpret blueprints and design documents to create prototype models and toolpaths.
• Ensure availability of parts and conduct audits for build, repair and testing activities.
• Monitor preventive maintenance, calibrate equipment and schedule routine service.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or prototyping environment.
• High school diploma; vocational training or an associate degree preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to lead a technical team.
