Manufacturing & Process Technician

About the role

The Manufacturing & Process Technician supports the full manufacturing lifecycle, from machine installation to production ramp‑up, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. You will work closely with the production team to train operators, troubleshoot technical issues, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and support installation of new or transferred machines.
• Train production staff before and during ramp‑up plans.
• Address technical issues during pre‑serial runs and implement improvements.
• Maintain defined machine layouts, update and optimise them as needed.
• Conduct sampling activities and ensure adherence to ramp‑up plans.
• Establish and enforce Standard Work Instructions (SWI) for processes, cameras and sensors.
• Define reference parameters for cameras and sensors during validation.
• Create dummy parts and related SWI.
• Monitor and respect process parameters, execute action plans, and analyse claims.
• Participate in the design and execution of new solutions and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure proper functioning of stations and contribute to PFMEA development.
• Perform Gemba walks to observe and improve shop‑floor activities.

Required profile

• Mechanical or electromechanical technician degree.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or process environments.
• Values of integrity, accountability, inclusion, innovation and teamwork.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools.
• Capacity analysis capability.
• Experience with fully automatic and precise processes.
• Knowledge of automation machine programming.
• Understanding of sensors and camera systems, including teaching and setting.
• Familiarity with PFMEA methodology.
