Trim CAD R&D Engineer

About the role

Join Lear Corporation as a Trim CAD R&D Engineer, supporting the creation and maintenance of technical packages for pattern design and assembly. You will work closely with the Section Leader and the engineering team to ensure high‑quality, standards‑compliant deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and update technical packages, including Accumark files, DXF drawings, reports, and other documentation.
• Report to the Section Leader while adhering to safe working practices.
• Provide comprehensive support for Accumark‑PDS and CATIA/NX tasks.
• Digitalize and plot patterns as required by the team.
• Validate that all packages meet corporate standards before distribution.
• Identify and communicate feasibility concerns related to patterns and data.
• Maintain project timelines and conduct 5S audits.

Required profile

• Technical degree (engineering or related field).
• Proven experience with Accumark or other PDS software.
• Proficiency in CATIA 2D drafting.
• Strong knowledge of trim and assembly processes.
• High attention to detail and solid problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written.
