Accounting Supervisor – Aerospace / Industrial

About the role

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will lead the accounting function for a newly created industrial entity within an international aerospace group. This position offers the chance to shape finance processes in a multicultural environment and ensure robust financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting activities and manage monthly and annual closing processes.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of financial statements, reconciliations, and inventory‑related operations.
• Supervise Accounts Payable and support the Finance Analyst in their scope.
• Contribute to group financial reporting and coordinate with finance teams across Europe, North America, and Asia.
• Participate in implementing and monitoring the internal control framework, including SOX compliance.
• Help structure and implement finance processes as part of the launch of the new industrial entity.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of accounting experience, preferably in an industrial or international group setting.
• Strong background in aerospace or automotive sectors is highly valued.
• Deep knowledge of Moroccan accounting standards and practices.
• Fluent English with regular interaction with global finance teams.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit or a related field.

Required skills

• Strong ERP expertise, ideally SAP.
• Experience with US GAAP and/or SOX compliance.
• Proficiency in Moroccan accounting standards.
