AI Product Engineer

About the role

Katalyz is looking for an AI Product Engineer to evolve its AI‑native revenue recovery platform into a reliable, scalable, enterprise‑ready product. You will work closely with the founders and product team to turn ideas into production‑ready features while ensuring compliance with GDPR and the EU AI Act.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve the platform across frontend, backend and AI components.
• Build and optimise AI‑powered workflows, agents and automations.
• Enhance performance, reliability, scalability and security.
• Implement integrations and new product features based on customer needs.
• Monitor, test and continuously improve AI performance and cost efficiency.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and engineering best practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in SaaS or a startup environment.
• Strong experience with Python and/or TypeScript, APIs and cloud platforms.
• Practical experience with LLMs, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents and AI APIs.
• Experience building and deploying production applications.
• Understanding of security, scalability and data‑protection requirements.
• Ability to work independently and move quickly from idea to production.
