Bookshop Manager – Casablanca

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Bookshop Manager to lead the daily operations of our Casablanca store. The role blends inventory control, team leadership, and the organization of cultural events, ensuring a high‑quality experience for every visitor.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and curate the bookstore sections according to defined themes.
• Maintain an attractive offer, handle merchandising and promote products.
• Welcome and advise customers, delivering a memorable service experience.
• Guide, motivate and develop the sales team around the store’s objectives and values.
• Track sales performance, profitability and inventory levels.
• Participate in planning and executing events such as signings, showcases and other cultural activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in literature, languages or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in a bookstore or a similar retail position.
• Strong general knowledge, commercial sense and excellent customer‑service orientation.
• Fluent in French, both spoken and written.
• Leadership, rigor and a collaborative spirit.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital tools for inventory and sales management.
