About the role
The Chef de Partie will work in the kitchen of the Rabat Marriott Hotel, preparing both hot and cold dishes to the highest quality standards. This position supports the culinary team by ensuring timely, accurate, and attractive food production for guests.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare special meals and substitute items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
- Pull frozen items to thaw in refrigeration and maintain proper portioning and garnish.
- Maintain food logs, monitor quality and quantity of prepared food, and communicate needs during busy periods.
- Inform the Chef of excess items for daily specials and update service staff on menu specials and out‑of‑stock items.
- Prepare and cook cold foods, ensuring adherence to food safety and preparation checklists.
Required profile
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
- At least 3 years of relevant culinary experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification required.
