Chef de Rang – Banquet Service

About the role

The Rabat Marriott Hotel is seeking a motivated Chef de Rang to lead banquet and restaurant service. You will ensure seamless guest experiences during group functions, coffee breaks, and dining events while maintaining high standards of presentation and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate service needs to chefs and stewards and manage total charges for group functions.
• Prepare and present checks to group contacts for payment.
• Set up banquet rooms, restaurants and coffee‑break areas, ensuring proper centerpieces, clean china, glass and silverware.
• Check in with guests to confirm satisfaction and address special dietary requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and adhere to safety, security and uniform policies.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving and standing for extended periods.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of food‑and‑beverage service experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
