Commis de Rang - Banquets

About the role

Four Seasons is hiring a Commis de Rang for its banquet service at its oceanfront hotel in Casablanca, which opened in November 2015 and offers 186 rooms, three food and beverage outlets, an outdoor pool, a fitness center and a spa. The role supports the smooth running of banquets and events.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the set-up of banquet rooms, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, place settings, buffet stations and décor as instructed.
• Support the Chef de Rang and banquet supervisors in ensuring a smooth flow of service during events.
• Greet guests and provide attentive, friendly and timely service throughout the function.
• Serve food and beverages in line with banquet standards and guest expectations.
• Clear plates, glassware and service items promptly and keep service areas clean and organised.
• Replenish buffet items, beverages and supplies as needed.
• Maintain a high level of hygiene, safety and sanitation in all working areas.
• Help with post-event breakdown and cleaning so the room is reset or returned to standard.
• Communicate effectively with team members and follow supervisors' instructions.
• Uphold company standards of professionalism, grooming and guest service.
