Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead the engineering, construction, installation and commissioning of the 633 MWp solar PV plant and its 1,324 MWh battery storage system in Midelt, Morocco. Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for delivering the asset on schedule, within budget and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all construction activities, including logistics, worker mobilisation and visa administration.
• Conduct constructability reviews, integrate construction constraints into the project execution plan and ensure compliance with inspection plans.
• Supervise and manage all design, construction and installation contracts (EPCI, equipment, accommodation, services) from technical, legal and commercial perspectives.
• Monitor project health and safety, champion the Zero‑Harm policy and provide leadership to achieve safety objectives.
• Identify and mitigate major construction and commissioning risks and maintain the construction resource plan.
• Maintain daily interfaces with stakeholders, report progress to the Project Director and manage package interfaces, logistics synergies and work area segregation.
• Prepare handover documentation for the Asset Management team at the PPA execution date.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale renewable energy construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction planning, quality control and health‑safety regulations.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate multiple contracts.
• Excellent risk‑management and stakeholder‑communication skills.
