Country Safety Head – Pharmacovigilance (Morocco, Tunisia, Libya)

About the role

Sanofi is seeking a Country Safety Head to lead Pharmacovigilance (PV) activities across Morocco, Tunisia and Libya. The role ensures patient safety, regulatory compliance and inspection readiness for the region’s products.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the face of the Patient Safety & PV organization in the three countries.
• Lead all PV activities, ensuring local teams are trained and compliant.
• Maintain inspection readiness and serve as the local Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance where required.
• Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, including medical, regulatory, quality, commercial, legal and country leads.
• Oversee outsourced PV activities and ensure partner compliance.
• Manage local PV resources, budget and reporting.
• Operate as Local Safety Officer, overseeing medical safety of assigned products under regional oversight.

Required profile

• Pharmacist with strong background in epidemiology and biostatistics.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on pharmacovigilance experience.
• Fluent in English and French at a professional level.

• In‑depth knowledge of pharmacovigilance systems and regulations.
• Experience interacting with regulatory agencies.
• Ability to manage safety data from multiple sources.
• Expertise in evaluating safety signals and defining risk‑management activities.
